About Us

Prom Coast Soccer Club is located at the Arthur Sutherland Rec Reserve in Welshpool. The
catchment area ranges from Yarram through to Fish Creek, with players in 2015 participating from
these areas.  Prom Coast SC prides itself on being an inclusive, family focused club that encourages
participation from children of all abilities and experience.

For a number of years PCSC has fielded an Under 13 team in the South division of the Gippsland
Soccer League. In 2015 we saw a 45% increase in player registrations and an Under 16s team also
competed. 

The Soccer club is excited to announce sponsorship of $500 from Toora & Foster Community Bendigo Bank and Welshpool agency for providing awards to junior members in this season for encouragement in the weekly game and at end of season presentation day. Their sponsorship in the past has benefited the club by purchasing new equipment and therefore increasing membership. The Gippsland soccer league presented Prom Coast with ‘Club of the Year 2016”.

Prom Coast during the 2016 season in the South division of Gippsland Soccer league were able to grow as a club and field Men’s reserve teams and two Junior mixed age group teams. We have potential for growing again to include a women’s team. The season starts late April and the club encourages anyone interested in soccer to come to our Gala day and have a try and some fun.

The small committee is always working hard to promote the world sport of soccer and our club.
After seeing the retirement of a long standing Prom Coast member, Geoff Harris, we welcome
anyone interested in joining our friendly club. We have positions available, including referee,
coaching assistance, linesman, even a hand in the canteen would be great.
The local community is invited to come and support our team at the rec reserve on alternate
Sunday’s with the competition starting on the 30th of  April 2017.  Come and enjoy the facilities and
